In-Kind Donations

United Colors of Fashion, Inc. (UCOF) Academy is deeply appreciative of in-kind donations which are invaluable to maintaining our daily operations. From office furniture to exhibition space to lunches for our students during training sessions to providing services for a day, please see below for the multitude of in-kind donation opportunities:

• Art Supplies & Fashion Tools/Instruments: The youth we help in New York City through the Fashion Education Program are in need of art supplies as well as fashion tools/instruments such as sewing machines, industrial steamers, fabrics, and sewing kits.
• Food & Beverage: Food and beverage donations for breakfasts and lunches are greatly appreciated for both the Fashion Education Program students and instructors as well as for backstage crew and participants at the annual gala.
• Metro Cards: Provision of metro cards is extremely useful for enabling students to get to workshops and internships free of charge.
• Office Space: Temporary or permanent office space for daily operations and/or training for the Fashion Education Program.
• Gallery & Exhibition Space: Gallery and exhibition space for periods of one week to a month are needed to hold fashion installations of our advanced students’ work twice per year.
• Store Window Space: Store window space at street level is needed to showcase the designs of our advanced students.
• Experienced Fashion Professionals: Experienced fashion professionals with expertise in design, illustration, embroidery, textiles, merchandising, public relations, marketing, trend research, or production are needed to teach our students; whether you’re available for a few hours or over multiple weeks, your time is greatly appreciated.
• Videographers: Videographers are needed to help the Marketing Team out together video campaigns to help raise awareness for our cause.
• Photographers: Photographers are also needed to assist with providing coverage for our events, especially the annual gala, as well as providing photography for marketing campaigns.
• Lighting: Lighting designers are needed to provide services specifically during our annual gala.
• Audio Visual and Sound: Audio Visual and Sound services are needed for our annual gala.
