On Sunday, June 26, 2011 United Colors Of Fashion, Incorporated (UCOF) celebrated the Birthday of one of the most influential women of the world, Mrs. Bisila Bokoko. The celebration took place at a chic restaurant in Chelsea, New York.
Mrs. Bokoko, whom is of African descent, was born and grew up in Spain. She is the epitome of strong women worldwide.
I remember it like it was yesterday, the first time I met Mrs. Bokoko. I was working for an event, where she was listed as an ambassador and her charity was being represented. I never had a chance to meet her prior, and when she walked into the room, her presence drew in attention immediately- not only was she stunning in her evening gown, but glowed. She had a huge smile, which just made you want to approach her and say hi, and so I did. I mean come on now, my brother, Ciano Clerjuste, is a really good friend of hers, I had to take advantage of the opportunity. As a woman, her aura was similar to a queen as her subjects bow in respect only with Mrs. Bokoko´s presence hearts melts in her kindness. I was greeted with the Spanish traditional kiss to the left cheek, and then one to the right.
